USDEC Names Winners of Excellence in Exports Awards
The U. S. Dairy Export Council( USDEC) announced the winners of its first Excellence in Exports( ExEx) Awards, which honor individuals and member companies driving the U. S. dairy export industry forward.
EXCELLENCE IN EXPORTS AWARD:
Actus Nutrition Actus Nutrition( formerly Milk Specialties Global) was recognized for its groundbreaking work introducing U. S.-produced caseins and caseinates into the global market, transforming a market previously dominated by European and Oceanian producers.
EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION AWARD:
David Ahlem, president & CEO, Hilmar Cheese Company Ahlem was honored for his leadership in developing innovative solutions for U. S. dairy exports. Under his direction, Hilmar Cheese Company co-invested in labs and an innovation center in China in 2022, enhancing the company’ s global presence in supplying highprotein whey and lactose.
