Portland ’ s refrigerated cargo volumes trail those of Boston , according to PIERS , a sister product of Journal of Commerce within S & P Global . Portland handled 3,134 TEUs in refrigerated cargo volumes in the first half of the year , down 5 % from the comparable 2023 period . Boston ’ s first-half volumes of 4,773 TEUs were up 8 %.
