Crowley adds new Central America – US Gulf service

Container carrier Crowley will launch a new service connecting Central America with the Port of Houston aimed at serving the Gulf Coast’ s dry and cold-chain shippers. The Jacksonville-based carrier said in a statement Aug. 19 that its Gulf- Central America Express Service will serve Guatemala’ s Santo Tomas port and Puerto Cortes in Honduras, with the first call at Houston scheduled to take place on Sept. 10 and then weekly departures each Thursday.
