" And the fact that we ' re seeing other areas , regions — and specifically Philadelphia — invest in reefer capabilities , certainly reinforces that our strategy is very sound and has adjacent business investment supporting our cold chain reefer thesis .”

SeaCube has invested in a technologyenabled reefer solution that ensures every new refrigerated container the company produces , owns and invests in has an attached telematics device , Tuthill said . He also noted the company ’ s continued investment in technology and sustainability as the industry moves to reduce its carbon footprint and governments tighten environmental regulations .

The Philadelphia region has also seen an increase in private warehousing and logistics development , some of which is contributing to furthering sustainability goals .
