warehousing space and a five-acre heavylift yard are just a few of JIT ’ s assets . These resources have set the business up to handle almost any container , breakbulk or dimensional cargo coming through the Port of Savannah or nearby private terminals .
Proximity to docks is another important benefit to shipping lines and their customers . Recognizing the need for a near-port rail warehouse to serve export forest products , JIT procured the construction of a tailor-made , highly efficient , 230,000-square-foot facility , which opened in October 2023 .
