Containerized US Imports from Asia, 2025 vs. 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, in laden TEUs
The Journal of Commerce Top 15 Container Carriers by US Imports from Asia accounted for 99 % of the 19 million TEUs in eastbound trans-Pacific trade in 2025, a decrease of 1.2 % from 2024 but an increase of 1.9 % from 2021. The Top 5 carriers handled 62 %( 11.8 million TEUs) of US imports from Asia last year, down from 63.9 %( 12.3 million TEUs) in 2024.
