As the transportation industry monitors the evolution of global trade patterns, Florida’ s ports and logistics players are adjusting their strategies to keep up with demand. From expanded Caribbean service routes to new
international terminal leases, the state’ s ports are facilitating how and where cargo flows.
As of February, Florida ranks as the No. 6 exporter and No. 12 importer among all US states and
territories. Florida’ s exports totaled $ 72.2 billion in 2024, with top categories including aircraft parts, phones, packaged medicines, computers and cars, reported data visualization and distribution
